Claude certification
Anthropic’s role-based certification program has four credentials, delivered proctored via Pearson VUE with a Credly digital badge on passing. Below is each track, how to register through the Claude SG partner network, and the official documents.

Associate

CCAR-PThe same track one level up, for people accountable for the solution inside an organisation — it tests whether you can design, secure and deliver it.
Solution architecture, security, compliance and governance, safety and risk, evaluation strategy, observability and cost, stakeholder delivery, developer enablement.
Practice CCAR-P→Foundations or Professional?
Both Architect exams cover the same track, but they test different things. Foundations is about building — orchestrating agents, configuring Claude Code, wiring up tool use and MCP. Professional is about owning the result — architecture decisions, security and governance, safety, evaluation strategy, cost and observability, and taking stakeholders with you. Foundations asks whether you can build it; Professional asks whether you can design, secure and deliver it.

Claude Certified Associate — Foundations
The entry-level certification for everyday Claude users. Covers configuring Projects, prompting fundamentals, managing context and memory, using Claude's interfaces, and responsible-use principles.
Claude Certified Developer — Foundations
For developers building on Claude. Covers the Messages API, the Claude Agent SDK, tool use and MCP, prompt engineering for code, streaming, and evaluation and testing. A good place to start if you're new to building on the platform.
Claude Certified Architect — Foundations
The deeper foundation exam — architecture, design decisions and the trade-offs behind them. Covers Claude Code and developer tooling, prompt and context engineering, agentic patterns, integration, and governance foundations.
Claude Certified Architect — Professional
The advanced architect certification. Covers designing complex multi-agent systems, production scale and reliability, evaluation strategy, cost and performance trade-offs, and enterprise governance.

How to register
Exams are open to the Claude SG partner network. The partner-network email is free to create.
- Step 1Complete the screening form
Pick your exam and submit the short screening at claudecode.sg.
- Step 2Get your partner-network email
On approval you receive a free @claudecode.sg email and sign a short freelance developer agreement.
- Step 3Register on Partner Academy
Use your @claudecode.sg address to register for the exam on Anthropic Partner Academy — personal email addresses are not accepted.
- Step 4Take the proctored exam
Sit the exam through Pearson VUE. Pass and earn a Credly digital badge.
